Applications are now open for the second Academy for Young Conductors by Maestro Vasily Petrenko, taking place in Yerevan, Armenia, from June 23-28, 2026. Vasily comments: “The Academy is an opportunity for young conductors to have a workshop with someone more experienced, with a bigger career, and with a real orchestra. For me, the Academy is about supporting the growth, nurturing the talents of the next generation of conductors, and giving them chances.”
To apply, conductors must submit at least two recent, unedited videos, a 300-word application letter and a biography. Applications are open now via the Primavera Charitable Foundation website. The deadline is May 3, 2026.
