Vasily Petrenko & the RPO Welcome Audiences back to London’s Southbank Centre on 2 June

Vasily Petrenko conducts the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as part of London’s Southbank Centre’s Summer Reunion reopening programme. The 2 June concert is also his first major appearance in his new role as the RPO’s Music Director Designate. They will be joined by Kian Soltani, the orchestra’s former Artist-in-Residence, who will perform Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major. The programme also features Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No. 5 in D and Rossini’s Overture to The Silken Ladder.
