Since 2006, Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra thrilled audiences at home and abroad with spectacular and award-winning music-making. Now, 15 years later, Petrenko and the Orchestra will celebrate their glorious collaboration with three final concerts on 8, 9 and 10 July. The concert will also be available on demand from 20 July. The programme includes Shostakovich’ Piano Concerto No. 2 (with soloist Simon Trpčeski), Schreker’s Der Geburtstag der Infantin (original chamber version) and Walton’s Façade: Suite No. 1.
